1 Cup roughly chopped coriander leaves  

2 green chilies 

½ inch Ginger

½ teaspoon cumin

1 chopped tomato or ½ teaspoon of amchur powder

1 teaspoon of lemon juice 

½ onion finely chopped 

Garlic cloves 2-3 

Salt to taste  

Method 

1. In a mixer grinder add coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger, tomato or amchur powder & grind it. 

2. Now add onion, garlic, cumin & salt. Now grind all the ingredients to a fine paste. 

3. Remove it to a bowl & now add lemon juice & serve. 

Mint Chutney- Easy chutney recipe of the North

They are known by the name of pudina, has a fresh minty aroma. Mint chutney is usually made by blending mint leaves, coriander, & lime juice. It is known for its antioxidant & antibacterial properties.

Peanut Chutney recipe

Easy Chutney Recipe- Ingredients

 ½ cup of groundnuts 

1 cup grated coconut

2 red chilies

1 green chili

1 tomato, chopped

Salt to taste 

Curry leaves

1 teaspoon mustard

1 teaspoon coconut oil 

Method 

1. In a mixture grinder take the groundnut & grind it to a fine powder 

2. Now add the grated coconut, red chili, green chili & salt and mix all the ingredients to a fine paste with sufficient water. 

3. Transfer it to a bowl

4. Heat a pan, add coconut oil & when it becomes hot add broken red chilies & mustard seed 

5. When the mustard seed splutters add the above mixture & let it become a little hot. 

6. Add the curry leaves & serve hot

Easy Chutney Recipe- Ingredients

2-3 chopped tomatoes

1 chopped onion

A pinch of asafoetida

½ inch ginger 

7- 8 Curry leaves

2 teaspoons Coconut oil 

1 teaspoon red chili powder

½ teaspoon of mustard

Salt to taste 

Method 

1. Take a pan, add some oil & when the oil is hot add onion & fry it till it turns light brown. Now add tomatoes, ginger & fry all these ingredients. 

2. Now add chili powder & salt to the mixture

3. Let it cool, then grind the above mixture in a mixture grinder with sufficient water to a fine paste. 

4. Remove it to a bowl 

5. Now keep a pan on the stove, add coconut oil & then mustard seeds & curry leaves 

6. When the mustard seeds splutter, keep the flame to a sim, add the ground mixture of tomato chutney & add a pinch of asafoetida. 

7. Let it boil & become thick, serve hot.
